Fox News knew the channel was spreading lies on Donald Trump’s behalf, but is it being judged for it?
Electoral fraud obviously destroys a democracy. Also widespread but false allegations of electoral fraud are destroying democracy. In a way, the latter is worse. Electoral fraud can sometimes be proven. Claims of cheating can never be fully disproved.
Dominion Voting Systems, one of the companies that supplies election equipment in the US, is making an attempt nonetheless. Dominion has sued the TV channel Fox News for defamation. The demand is for 1.6 billion dollars, 16.5 billion kroner.
