When the bosses of Hennessey, Koenigsegg and Rimac exchange their hypercars!

What can happen when the bosses of Hennessey, Koenigsegg and Rimac find themselves at the controls of a hypercar competing with theirs? The answer in this video which highlights the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution, Koenigsegg Jesko Attack and Rimac Nevera, on the Sonoma Raceway, in California.

“What happens when you let the minds behind the fastest hypercars on the planet drive everyone else’s?” This is how this video from the channel begins YouTube Top Gear in which the bosses of Hennessey, Koenigsegg and Rimac will take turns behind the wheel of hypercars competing with theirs.

It all starts with John Hennessey. At the controls of the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack (1,600 horsepower, 5L twin-turbo V8), before boarding the Rimac Nevera (1,914 horsepower, 4 electric motors, 412 km/h top speed), he is subsequently impressed by the power of the car, power available as soon as he depresses the accelerator pedal. Accompanied in the car, like the other brand owners, he said to himself “a little intimidated” when his current co-pilot “slightly deactivated the traction control”.

It’s a monstrous engine in a kart

It’s then Mate Rimac’s turn to take the wheel of the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution (1,817 horsepower, 6.6L twin-turbo V8), before boarding the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack. Also impressed by Hennessey’s hypercar, he is even at times limited in his actions by his passenger. At the end of his run, he will realize that he can feel the engine idling, declaring: “I’ve never felt like this in a car. It’s a monstrous engine in a kart!”.

Finally comes the turn of Christian von Koenigsegg. He first starts by getting behind the wheel of the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution, before getting into the Rimac Nevera alongside Mate Rimac. Very focused, aboard the F5 Revolution, he will also be very impressed by the car: “Wow, it’s cool to see how this all moves with the engine. Wow, it’s thunder!”. For him, it was really a very exciting experience.
