This is an original communication campaign set up by Stade de Reims to promote the next Ligue 1 match against RC Lens to its supporters.
In an animated video posted on the social networks of the Champagne club, we see a stadium taking shape under the moonlight and we can see slag heaps overlooking a forest of fir trees. A few wolf cries, the mood is set.
The people of Rémois were visibly inspired by the Loup-Garou series broadcast on the Canal Plus television channel. In the video, the Lensois are presented under the name of the Ch’ti Loups who are taking over the Auguste-Delaune stadium en masse, as has been the case since the rise of the Sang et Or in L1. Last season, the Champenois maneuvered to reduce the possibilities of finding a ticket for the meeting. Which notably provoked the anger of Artesian president Joseph Oughourlian.
“Arrive before the Ch’tis Loups”
In this video, the Rémois are drawn as villagers and “ the objective for the villagers is to arrive at the stadium before the arrival of the Ch’tis Loups. Put 19,500 ‘villagers’ in the stadium… (a thousand spaces are reserved for the Lensois parking lot)”, according to the soundtrack which accompanies the video”
The animation also highlights the talent of the Artesian supporters in mobilizing to blend in with the Rémois people in the stadium and thus scrape additional places from the contingent guaranteed to them. The whole thing remains in a humorous tone: “ Ch’tis Wolves and villagers, we are not here to devour each other but just to have a fun time together in the stands. »The match is scheduled for Friday, November 29 at 8:45 p.m.
