On the night of November 9 last year, hell came to the village of Mai Kadra, in northern Ethiopia. Hundreds of people were slaughtered with knives and machetes by militias.
When Lemlem Gebreyohannis fled with his seven children, there were dead bodies everywhere. Among the dead were her own relatives and friends, she tells Norwegian Church Aid, which was recently in Tigray province.
