This Liège-Bastogne-Liège 2022 will be remembered. For Remco Evenepoel’s victory and the huge fall which brought many riders to the ground, but also for Philippe Gilbert’s jubilee. The winner of the 2011 Doyenne said goodbye to this race which is so close to his heart. By doing the work, first, then by enjoying the atmosphere in the last kilometers, while he was left behind.
