/ world today news/ Ivan Takev has been appointed head of the press center of the Ministry of Education and Science.
The order for Takev’s appointment takes effect from tomorrow (May 21).
Ivan Takev was born on July 28, 1957. He graduated from “Journalism” and “Bulgarian Philology” at SU “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
Takev worked in the “Advertising” department of the BSFS. After that, he was employed as an unhappy employee in the BNR. In 1985, he became an editor in “Program” and “Culture”. He spent two years at Radio Free Europe. In 1991, he started working as a reporter in “Po sveta i u nas” on BNT.
A year later, he is the host of the “Echo” show. In 1993 he specialized in the BBC. Takev is the editor-in-chief of “News” on Channel 1, as well as the editor-in-chief of the “Publicism” department. From 1998 to 2001, he worked at “Image” AD, where he was an expert in PR and advertising.
