This photographic report that I share in La Mirada del Lector de La Vanguardia touches on a less conventional topic, since simple, everyday things, when they are already disposable, can also be a source of creativity.
Beauty can be discovered in them, as in mushrooms. I have taken these photos with a personal touch of reflections, light, colors and shapes … A fascinating beauty! … I have titled them Mold, unconventional art.
Lemon with mold.
Molds are microscopic fungi that feed on plant or animal matter. Meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables and breads succumb to its invasion.
Moldy orange.
What we can see, green, blue, white, gray or brown in color, are just the spores of those tens of thousands of different fungi.

The reflection that I carry out (and that I invite us to do) with these photographs is that beauty appears where you least expect it, such as, for example, in mold.
Tomato with mold.
This immersion in the world of mold artists takes us, for example, to know the work of South Korean Seung Hwan Oh, who has integrated microorganisms into portrait images.
Nectarine with mold.
These are old photographs that, over the years, are mutating thanks to the intervention of mold. The truth is that the result has very striking colors.
