when Kiev can receive a vaccine against COVID-19 under a separate contract

Mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klichko said the capital could receive a coronavirus vaccine in the next few weeks. He noted that he personally negotiates with drug manufacturers.

He stated this on the air of “Freedom of speech by Savik Shuster”. The program was broadcast on the YouTube channel Shuster online Friday 19 March (scroll to the end to watch the video).

“Until the moment the contract is signed, there is no need to announce it, but I am sure that in the coming weeks the city of Kiev will be able to receive the vaccine,” the mayor said.

Klitschko plans to purchase a vaccine for Kiev at the expense of the local budget. He recalled that UAH 140 million had been allocated for this.

We will remind, in Europe it was recognized that the number of available doses of vaccines against coronavirus will be not enough to prevent a third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As reported OBOZREVATEL, in the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill No. 5247, which exempted from liability for negative consequences of vaccination of vaccine manufacturers against COVID-19, as well as involved doctors.
