During this week the vaccination process against COVID-19 due to the sustained rise in cases in the face of the rapid spread of Omicron.
People age 55 and older who received their booster dose through August 15, 2021, they must be inoculated with their fourth dose of the vaccine between February 7 and 13, 2022.
While immunocompromised people who received their booster dose until September 26, 2021, should receive their fourth dose from January 24 to 30. The same for boys and girls between 3 and 5 years old and those who receive their first and second booster doses.
Fourth dose booster schedule
Between January 24 and 30
Immunocompromised persons who have received their booster dose up to September 26, 2021:
- Dialysis patients (heme or peritoneum).
- Solid organ transplant patient: heart, lungs, kidney, liver, pancreas.
- Hematopoietic precursor transplant patient.
- Patients with cancer undergoing treatment (radiotherapy, chemotherapy or hormonal therapy).
- Patients with autoimmune diseases receiving biological or small molecule treatments.
Between February 7 and 13
- People 55 years of age or older who have received their third booster dose by August 15, 2021.

Third or second dose
People vaccinated with a complete schedule until September 26.
- Immunocompromised boys and girls between 6 and 11 years old.
- Dialysis patients (heme or peritoneum).
- Solid organ transplant patient: heart, lungs, kidney, liver, pancreas.
- Hematopoietic precursor transplant patient.
- Patients with cancer undergoing treatment (radiotherapy, chemotherapy or hormonal therapy).
- Patients with autoimmune diseases receiving biological or small molecule treatments.
- Boys and girls 12 years and older.
Vaccination Schedule COVID-19
- First and second dose for boys and girls between 3 to 5 years old.
- First dose for persons 3 years of age or older,
- Second dose to the population vaccinated with Sinovac, AstraZeneca and Pfizer, with at least 28 days from the first dose.
- Pregnant women of any gestational age.
