When is Apple’s Back-to-School Sale?
Apple Back to School Sale Dates in US and Canada – Until September 27
Apple launched its Back to School sale in the United States and Canada on June 17. The event will run until September 27, 2021. See Apple Back to School promotions in the United States.
The date is in line with last year’s sale, which launched around the same time on June 15. Last year, the Apple Back to School sale in the United States was originally scheduled to end on September 29, but was extended until October 12 – just a day before Prime Day 2020 began.
Apple Back to School UK Sale Dates
Apple has yet to confirm when it will have its Back to School sale in the UK, although we may see an announcement next month.

Apple Back to School Sale Dates Asia Pacific
Operating on a slightly different schedule, Apple launched its return to college sale in Asia-Pacific on January 7. The event took place across Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Brazil and ended on March 16.

What is included in the Apple sales for the start of the 2021 school year?
The Apple Back to School sale in North America this year is following the same path as last year. University students or those about to start graduate school can get a free pair of AirPods (worth £ 159 / $ 159 / AUD $ 249) with any of the following devices:
Like last year, those who want to upgrade to AirPods with wireless charging or AirPods Pro will only have to pay the difference. This is £ 40 / $ 40 more if you want the AirPods and wireless charging case or 90 £/90 $ more if you want the AirPods Pro.

Does Apple offer free Beats headphones?
Not this year. Instead of Beats headphones, Apple US offers its popular AirPods Wireless Earphones, which is the same offer we expect in the UK.
In previous Apple Education Store sales, Apple has offered credit for Beats headphones with Mac and iPad purchases. This year, like last year, the UK is offering a £ 159 / $ 159 credit that students can use towards a pair of AirPods headphones, effectively making it free. Students also get a 20% discount AppleCare+.
In the US, students can apply the $ 159 credit to AirPods with the Wireless Charging Case, valued at $ 199, and get the set for $ 40. Alternatively, students can put the credit on the AirPods Pro, worth $ 249, and only pay $ 90 out of pocket.

Will Apple’s new iPad Pro M1 be included in the Back to School sale?
Yes, you can get the free AirPods back when you buy the new iPad Pro with M1 chip. You can also get the AirPods when you buy the iPad Air (4th generation, 2020). What we can’t see are bundles on the 2020 iPad, despite being eligible for the student rate.

How to get an Apple Education discount
Students and staff will need to verify their status via UNiDays UK.
In the we and Australia the verification process is less standardized. While you don’t need a specific ID or login to order for the Apple Education Store, Apple may ask to see proof of your student status during or after purchase and may charge you a fee if you don’t have proof.
We recommend that you register your details via your university email and have your official student ID and contact details ready, whether you are ordering for delivery or pickup in store.
