Shameer Muhammad is a busy editor in Malayalam today. Mammootty’s Turbo, which was a recent hit in theatres, and Tovino Thomas’ Ajayan’s 2nd Moshanav, which is currently breaking in theatres, are all edited by Shamir Muhammad.

Shameer Mohammad says that while editing each film, he remembers the audience that is going to see it and edits the film accordingly. Shameer says that if some things are shown too much, it becomes boring and the audience has patience. Shameer Mohammad said that he did not cut Mohanlal’s emotional scenes in the movie Villain and he liked it a lot.

‘When I’m working on a film, I look at the audience of that film. Some pictures are more likely to be seen by people over forty years old. Some images will be viewed by young people. Similarly, there are types of movies that everyone watches.

Everyone has their own patience. They will have a way of understanding. If some things are shown too much, it will be boring. Just showing a little is enough. I always edit films with that mindset in mind.

If you take the emotional scene of Lullaby in Villain, I just cut the clapboard and didn’t touch anything after that. There is no scaling in that scene. The picture was taken by moving the camera. I really enjoyed that picture while I was editing it. We will come to a judgment after watching the film,’ said Shamir Mohammad.

B. Villain is a movie directed by Unnikrishnan. Mohanlal played the role of Mathew Manjooran in the film and Manju Warrier was the heroine. Although the film was not noticed in a big way, Mohanlal’s performance in the film became a big talk.
