Sanjay Leela Bhansali shares his first time meeting Deepika Padukone. Sanjay Bhansali says that he went to their house to meet Deepika for the first time and was mesmerized by Deepika’s beauty and voice when she opened the door. He was talking to Hollywood Reporter India.
“I went to Deepika’s house for the first time to meet her. It was Deepika who opened the door. As soon as I saw her, the beauty of the woman surprised me. When the door opened and Deepika started talking, I realized that her voice was also beautiful. There was so much kindness in her eyes.
Then I realized I was in the right place at the right time. Because I knew this girl could reach any height if she was shaped right. Then we will realize that our soul is connected with their soul,’ said Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone have worked together in three films so far. Bhansali and Deepika’s first film together was Goleon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela which released in 2013. The two then came together in films like Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
