Thrissur: A person who ordered 5 churidar on an online commercial site received a nest full of pieces of cloth as a parcel. Asaf Sebi, a wrestler from Ollur Vallachira, was cheated. The online site had promised that the churidar, priced at Rs 599, would be available for Rs 109.
According to this, 5 churidars were ordered. 620 including delivery charge. The fraud was discovered when the parcel that arrived the previous day was broken. The pieces of cloth left over after sewing were packed in baskets.
