Haruka spent six years with AKB48. This 29 year old singer finally decided to move to JKT48 at his own request.
“It looks exciting at JKT48, like different countries,” Haruka was quoted as saying Kompas.com, Friday (2/4/2021).
Haruka said the reason for moving was because the audience in Indonesia was considered so energetic.
“Because the people are really fun, when I first came to Indonesia it was like 2011 or 2012, it was just exciting. Indonesians are enthusiastic (when watching JKT48). Japanese people are shy, screaming here feels really celebrity, “said Haruka.

Haruka admitted that artist management in Japan is very strict.
