Romuald Ferrant, at the head of the American Central group which is developing the Duchesse des Glaces brand in Dijon, apologizes for receiving us in a room of “only” 70 square meters. It must be said that the small ice cream parlor will soon become big by moving in November to a 300 square meter room in the ZAE Cap Nord. The brand, which can be found in supermarkets and restaurants in the region, will be able to benefit from European aid: the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund). Precious funding which will allow the acquisition of new, more efficient machines, in order to no longer produce 1000 pots per day as is currently the case, but up to 2000 pots per hour… Video report, before reading our complete file on this European aid in our Economy supplement on Tuesday 5 October.
