HOW MUCH MONEY DOES THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CHAMPION EARN?
In this competition, the soccer team earns profits depending on which round it advances. In this way, the champion of the Champions League will take home an amount of 20 million euros. Likewise, it is expected that the prizes will increase in each edition.
Furthermore, the runner-up in the Champions League automatically wins 15.5 million euros, so all that remains is to win the decisive match. If they don’t, they don’t receive the large amount they offer to be champion.
It is important to indicate that the previously indicated money is totally separate from the amount that each team has accumulated throughout the championship; since to them are added the prizes of 2.8 million euros for each victory in the group stage and 930 thousand euros for each draw in the same instance.
