Accompanied by the Secretary of Health, Sergio González Romero, the president announced that everything is ready to apply these biologicals and there are around 50,000 doses in existence that will serve to vaccinate not only the indicated group, but even laggards of other ages. .
According to the established schedule, he said, this Monday they start in San Juan del Río, Guadalupe Victoria and Nombre de Dios, they will continue on Tuesday in Cuéncame, Tlahualilo and Santiago Papasquiaro. On Monday the 11th the brigades arrive in Canatlán, Pueblo Nuevo, Poanas and Mezquital, in El Oro and Rodeo on Tuesday the 12th, closing the following day in Vicente Guerrero.
He added that by Thursday the 14th Tepehuanes will be vaccinated and there will be a special brigade in the Mezquital area, La Guajolota community, to be able to reach those remote places where care is required to protect life, since this vaccine guarantees a lower number of deaths and hospitalizations.
For children from 5 to 11 years old they will have access to the Pfizer vaccine, while those over 18 years old will receive Cansino, he explained. Those who have not yet been vaccinated have the option of receiving the dose and ensuring that the effects of contagion are as minor as possible.
He reiterated that the vaccine is of great protection, because although it does not prevent contagion, it does make the effects less and that lives are lost, as is happening in this new wave of Covid-19.
