The SEP announced that the first phase of registration for the new “Rita Cetina Gutiérrez” Universal Scholarship begins on Monday, October 14, 2024 in secondary schools in Edomex and the rest of the country, and will conclude on Friday, January 17, 2025.

Requirements to apply for the ‘Rita Cetina Gutiérrez’ Universal Scholarship
- Birth certificate of the student.
- Unique Population Registration Code (CURP) of the student.
- Proof of the student’s studies (study certificate, credential, registration form or report card).
- Valid official identification of the mother, father or guardian (voter ID, passport, professional ID, Inapam credential or identity card).
- CURP of the mother, father or guardian.
- Proof of address (telephone, electricity, gas, water or property bill).
- Birth certificate of the mother, father or guardian.
- Scholarship form duly completed.
