On May 11, Eurofans will find out the name of the winner of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest 2024, which this year takes place in the Swedish city of Malmo. Based on the results of two semi-finals, 20 finalists were selected from among the 37 participating countries, who will join the Big Five – Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Spain – to compete for the coveted crystal microphone. Sweden, as the current host of the competition, automatically advances to the final stage.
The grand final will take place on Saturday 11 May. The live broadcast from the Malmö Arena stadium will begin at 22:00 Kyiv time.

Ukrainians will once again be able to enjoy the performance of the duet of singer Jerry Heil and rapper Alyona Alyona, who will perform the song “Teresa & Maria”. Based on the results of the first stage, which took place on May 7, the Ukrainian representatives secured their place in the finals.
Currently, bookmakers estimate Ukraine’s chance of victory at only 4% – the artists occupy 6th place in the rating. As of May 10, the table is headed by the representative of Croatia Baby Lasagna with the song Rim Tim Tagi Dim – experts give 43% for his victory.
This Saturday we will hear how many points both the Europeans and the jury of the participating countries rated Ukraine’s performance. This year, the speaker who will read out the scores of the Ukrainian judges is the winner of Eurovision 2016, Jamala.
