Omega 3 is one of the essential supplements that the body needs on a daily basis, as it helps in many vital functions and gives the body many health benefits.

“Consolto” reviews the appropriate time to take omega-3 supplements in the next report, according to “Medical News Today”.

There is no wrong time of day to take omega 3 supplements. However, some evidence suggests that people absorb omega-3 fatty acids more effectively when taken with a meal that contains dietary fat.

An earlier study from 2015 found that taking omega-3 fatty acids with a low-fat meal reduced absorption.

Omega 3 capsules can be taken for breakfast, but if they are no longer in fat, you can wait until lunch and eat them with a healthy meal that contains the healthy fats your body needs, for maximum benefit.

Some people experience minor side effects such as mild abdominal pain, in which case it can be split into two doses and taken at different times of the day.

People who split the dose in half may need to take each dose at different meal times.

The right dose of omega-3 supplement

Researchers found it difficult to determine the ideal amount of omega-3 fatty acids the body needs each day.The American Heart Association determined the appropriate daily allowance of omega-3 fatty acids per day as follows:

Under 12 months 0.5 g.

From 1 to 3 years 0.7 grams.

From 4 to 8 years 0.9 mg.

Males aged 9 to 13 years 1.2 grams.

Females 9 to 13 years old 1.0 g.

Males 14 grams or older.

Females aged 14 and over 1.1 grams.

During pregnancy 1.4 grams.

During lactation 1.3 grams.

Health benefits of omega-3 fatty acids
