Memphis Depay, the captain of OL and Dutch international, is not happy with the difference in treatment between the internationals of the France team and those of the other selections. While the Blues will not have isolation to observe on their return from selection and after the match against Bosnia-Herzegovina, other internationals playing outside the EU will have to isolate themselves. Depay therefore spoke on his Twitter account to challenge the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, and the French government. “French government, can I join the Dutch national team on Monday? It would be fair, since you make an exception for the France team, which also travels outside Europe to play!”, Wrote Depay, not at all satisfied of this difference in treatment.
French government can I please join the national team @Our orange on Monday. That would be fair since y’all make an exception for the France national team that travels outside of Europe to play games as well!!! @EmmanuelMacron @UEFAcom_fr @OL
