When a gigantic tree falls on the road just as you arrive by car, is that a sign of fate?
Sometimes funny things can happen on the road. A problem of inattention from another driver, an animal crossing at the wrong time, a nail puncturing the tire while you are driving on a highway … for the unlucky one, every trip can turn into a nightmare.

But on the level of bad luck, finding yourself with a gigantic tree lying down on the road just as you arrive by car is a particularly unlikely event. And yet this is what happened in the Sequoia forest in the United States. A couple in their car found themselves with a 60-meter-tall monster falling onto the roadway.
The right reflex
The driver then accelerated by swiping the steering wheel to the left. In the end, the tree hit the rear windshield, breaking the window and causing serious damage. But the two occupants of the vehicle get by without the slightest scratch. Phew!
