When Chelsea find it difficult to achieve “ordinary” goals.

Salzburg

Chelsea 2-1 win over RB Salzburg in the sequel Champions of La Liga. The Blues need two good goals to block tickets for the round of 16.

Chelsea visits RB Salzburg in match day fifth Champions of La Liga, Tuesday (25/10) WIB evening. Chelsea secured the three points with a narrow 2-1 victory.

The goals were rejected. Chelsea took the lead Matteo Kovacic at the 23rd minute. Adamu had equalized the score in the 48th minute and Kai Havertz the key to the Azzurri’s victory in the 64th minute.

Both teams played open and attacked each other. According to the official UEFA website, Salzburg have scored seven shots on goal and Chelsea more than 11 times.

Salzburg goalkeeper Philipp Kohn was a scourge Chelsea. Kohn did well when he foiled Aubameyang’s two golden chances, one of which he won a one-on-one duel.

Until the end, Chelsea could score two splendid goals with a shot from outside the box!

Kovacic’s goal came as the midfielder blocked a loose ball with his left foot and headed for a corner. Havertz’s goal also came from his left, he curled a shot that hit the post and bounced back hard.

Kohn, too, could only die.

“The goals were spectacular, both ended up in the top right corner of the goal. It made my job easier,” Chelsea manager Graham Potter explained of the two beautiful goals.

“Havertz needs goals, I know. He kept fighting and working hard, until finally he broke too,” he concluded.
