dr Dirga asserted, until now there is no scientific evidence that booster injections can increase public protection. But the conditions are, first, the COVID-19 vaccination in Indonesia has reached more than 50 percent of the vaccination target.
“We will talk about the third vaccination and so on if 1 (first), our vaccination coverage is at least above 50 percent,” he explained.
“Secondly, there is scientific evidence, scientifically that it is true that after so many months it turns out that we no longer have protection. Until now these 2 conditions have not occurred in Indonesia, so 2 vaccinations are enough,” concluded Dr. Dirga.
