It is an original journey of life, of these human adventures which inspire. 14 years ago, Doris and Jean-Pierre Zbinden, from Moutier, decided to buy… a marina. It is located in Corre, Haute-Saône, at the southern entrance to the Canal des Vosges. At the origin of this rather crazy decision: the virus of the boat which stung Jean-Pierre Zbinden a few years earlier. But from there to investing in a Marina, developing the port and building a shipyard, there was still a big step to take. “Everything happened by chance,” smiles Jean-Pierre Zbinden. “I often tinkered in this area, and the mechanic at the time teased me to sell me shares. I told him it was all or nothing, not thinking that things would go that way”.
Jean-Pierre Zbinden is one of those people who get bored quickly when their business is humming. Possessing such a character was necessary to dare the adventure. The change of life is total, but the game was well worth the candle according to him. The passion for the boat, which came to him later, also weighed in the balance.
Today, Doris and Jean-Pierre Zbinden seek to gradually restore the fate of the port of corre in new hands. Announcements were posted on social networks in particular. Notice to interested parties! At 67, Jean-Pierre will not give up his passion. “Water is one of the few places where you have total freedom. »
It is therefore a page that is about to turn to Corre. The couple do not hide their pride in having been able to develop such a project and build the site’s reputation. It remains to be seen what will be the next challenge for the two Prévôtois. It’s hard to believe that Jean-Pierre Zbinden, never stingy with explosive ideas, will be content to spend a peaceful retirement… /oza
