“Wheelchair-Accessible Routes in Schönbuch Nature Park: Exploring the Million Street and Hölzles Tor Circular Route”

In the Schönbuch Nature Park there are 16 barrier-free/low barrier-free routes that can be used by wheelchair users and families with children.
The offers are well described so that visitors can get an idea of the route in advance. Nevertheless, an accompanying person is always recommended.

The Heuberger Tor with its well-paved parking lot is the starting point for the circular route via the “Millions Street” to the Hölzles Tor and back to the parking lot. The circular route runs on well-paved forest paths and along the edge of the forest even on asphalt. Only an approx. 250m long section from the ridge path to Hölzles Tor is well paved, but depending on the season it can be a bit slippery due to falling leaves. At the end of the route there is a steep drop (8%; approx. 200m). Therefore, please note the specified walking direction. The circular route is marked with light green signposts.

On the way there are beautiful views of the Swabian Alb, Hohenzollern Castle and the Wurmlinger Chapel. Several seating options are available.
