Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Technology companies are finally using generative AI, one of which is WhatsApp.
The latest report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will enable AI to generate stickers that can be used in chats.
Quoting AndroidHeadlines, AI stickers appear to appear on WhatsApp beta version 2.23.17.14.
This feature was successfully tested by WABetaInfo. From the screenshot, while on the Stickers section of the keyboard, you will see a banner spanning across the top of the keyboard.
There a new bar will appear where, if clicked, an option will appear for the user to make their own sticker with the caption “Try it” in green.
Below that, you’ll see a Create button with the classic sparkle icon that’s become the default icon for generative AI.
When clicked, the user will see a new page with a text field at the top. Here, you can describe what kind of sticker you want WhatsApp to make.
Then it’s done, you will see the sticker you want as a result.
As mentioned, these AI stickers are still in beta testing, so we don’t know when or if the feature will be released to wide audiences.
But, however with the explosive explosion of AI, it seems that the company will push this to the stable version.
