WhatsApp Status is one of the user’s favorite features WhatsApp. Now a feature similar to Instagram Stories will get a new update that is quite interesting, namely uploading voice notes or voicemail as Status.
This new feature was spotted by WABetaInfo in WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.2.8. Currently this feature is available for a number of beta testers.
From screenshots shared by WABetaInfo and observations detikINETWhatsApp users who have become beta testers can now share voice recordings as statuses.
How to make a voice recording into a WhatsApp status is easy, just like making a normal status. The difference is that you can chat directly to record the contents of the message.
To make a voice recording a WhatsApp status, all you have to do is open the Status tab in the WhatsApp application. After that tap on the pencil icon in the lower right corner.

After that you will see a microphone icon in the lower right corner. Press and hold the microphone button to record the contents of your status.
In contrast to ordinary voice messages, the duration of which is not limited, especially for voice notes that are uploaded as statuses WhatsApp duration is limited to 30 seconds. If you are not satisfied with the message that has been recorded, the voice note can be canceled by sliding the microphone button to the left.
WABetaInfo says users who want to listen to voice notes on status must update their WhatsApp application to the latest version. Voice notes shared via status are also protected by end-to-end encryption to protect their privacy.
Same as statuses WhatsApp In general, voice notes shared via status will be deleted automatically after 24 hours, but users can also delete voice notes that have been uploaded.
Currently, the feature for sharing voice notes via a new status is available for beta testers. If you have registered as a WhatsApp beta tester but cannot access this feature, please be patient because this feature will be released in stages. It is not yet known when this feature will be rolled out to all WhatsApp users.
