The popular chat application WhatsApp hasn’t been considered secure for a long time, yet it ranks among the most used communicators in the world. However, it won’t be available on millions of devices starting in January.
Many older phones will no longer support WhatsApp. According to the server Daily mail there are supposedly dozens of devices, some of which are still widely used by people today.
These are not unknown brands, on the contrary. The application will not be supported, for example, on some LG, Samsung or certain types of iPhones.
The solution may be to upgrade to a newer version of the operating system for some phones, newer ones are usually not supported by older phones.
If the problem also affects you and you don’t want to buy a new phone because of an application, downloading another communication program could also be the solution. For example, the encrypted application Signal is popular.
