This! Whatsapp calling feature is terrible! On iPhone iig. You can’t mute a call when it rings on your lock screen, like I hate that. And you can’t easily reject a call if your phone is unlocked. I absolutely don’t want to call or be called via Whatsapp, because I don’t want to give Whatsapp access to my microphone and camera.
Result: people call me because they don’t know. I can’t answer the call because I don’t have access to the microphone. Not even I can silence the conversation, because bunglers of Whatsapp.
Why is this happening? Why doesn’t Whatsapp just give me a slider to turn off the calling feature completely? So that people can no longer call me via Whatsapp? Every conversation is another terrible annoyance, I hate that app so slow. It’s not even a good chat app, Telegram and Signal are much better.
