WhatsApp will bring two-step verification for Apple desktop

Jakarta (ANTARA) – WhatsApp is reportedly preparing its newest feature for Apple device users, especially those who access its services via the version desktop namely the two-step verification feature or two way verification.

This new news follows the development of a feature that is certain to make it easier for Android users to transfer their WhatsApp data to devices with the iOS operating system.

9to5 Mac launched on Monday, the two-step verification feature is still in its early stages of development.

Not only version desktop, later Macbook or iMac users can perform two-step verification for the version website.

This is done by WhatsApp considering the increasing number of scams or scam attempting to take over a user’s account.

In this way, users can be more secure because they have to pass multiple checks.

This method will also encourage WhatsApp to support the use of its application on more than one device.

The two-step verification will also make it easier for users to provide extra security for their services, especially when users are away from their cellphones but have to access WhatsApp from their PCs.

There is also two-step verification that will ask for a PIN that was previously created so that users who actually create their accounts can be protected.

It is not yet known when this feature will be tested to the public via beta.
