WhatsApp Web prepares for a new update, and the first reports indicate that the messaging platform will replicate various of his sister’s functions, Instagram.
Specialized media indicate that some users have already received invitation to experiment with the new tools, and that the platform requested that if an error is detected, it be notified to deepen in it and avoid problems when launching the final version.
One of the new functions that WhatsApp will adopt, both in its mobile versionl as in his desktop version, will be the reels that already exist on Instagram, both in its version for cell phones and for computers.
This first phase of testing is already under evaluation of both Android and iOS users, plus computer versions. The courier company will refine this version over the next few weeks and the final version is expected to arrive before June.

On Instagram, the function of reels was added with the intention that users discover and create short videos, with filters, backgrounds and musical pieces, very similar to what the social network offers Tik Tok. It is expected that in its version for WhatsApp, the reels tool will offer the same.

Another of the great innovations that will come to the desktop version WhatsApp will be the mode ‘vanish’, which allows messages and multimedia files are eliminated after seeing them.

On Instagram, the vanish mode can be activated in the chat settings. When a video, gif, photo o audio to another user, once the recipient abra the file, it will disappear as long as the tool is active. On WhatsApp, it should work as same form.
