WhatsApp keeps growing in features
WhatsApp users have long been waiting for the ability to use their accounts on multiple devices independently. This scenario was already possible, but still requiring the presence of a configured smartphone.

Whoever discovered this new feature is still not sure if this capability will be limited to tablets, as was naturally expected. However, and as can be seen, there is no indication that it cannot reach smartphones as well.
We are still a long way from seeing this new thing on a daily basis. However, it is an important step to bring WhatsApp and its messaging service to new spaces and without any dependence on equipment or platforms they may have.
