Without having read through all the posts there, I have only read about Samsung users on Reddit who are affected by the problem. Even here in the forum and in this thread, not a single user has reported being affected by the problem and not using a Samsung smartphone.
We have countless Google Pixel and Xiaomi/Poco users here in the forum, but not one of them has reported this bug in this thread.
From my point of view, one cannot say that other manufacturers are also affected.
EDIT: After searching for keywords in the browser, I found an entry for a Google Pixel and a Motorola G54. I wouldn’t take that seriously at all and it definitely has nothing to do with the bug discussed in this thread.
If thousands of Samsung users have reported the bug and have been filling various threads in various forums with the topic of the bug for months, but only one Google Pixel user or one Motorola G54 user, then something must be wrong. There could be completely different reasons why these people have a problem with WhatsApp voice messages. I see it the same way with the statement that the Samsung A54 is also affected. The people around me with a Samsung A54 are not affected and you can find an entry about it here in the thread. In the Samsung forum, where countless Samsung users have already reported the bug, you can only find one entry from a Samsung A54 user. But there are thousands of users of the Samsung S series from the S10 and the Samsung Note series from the Note 10.
