“Language Status” still under development
As WABetaInfo on his blog writes, this innovation is still in development and has not yet been released for beta testers.
A screenshot shows that when creating a status, a microphone symbol is also displayed, as is also the case with voice messages.

WABetaInfo also writes that a language status is only shared with those people who have been selected in the status data protection settings. These voice memos are also end-to-end encrypted.
It is currently unclear when this function will be available for beta testers or for all users in general.
