JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The WhatsApp application is reportedly working on controls in the voicemail feature that will allow users to pause or pause recording.
Launch XDA DeveloperThursday (3/3/2022), WABetaInfo reported that the update contained a version on WhatsApp Beta 2.22.6.7 for Android.
Previously, WhatsApp users had to repeat voice messages if they made a mistake while recording.
They had to cancel the voicemail and record it from scratch.

With this pause feature, users can pause the recording if they feel the need or make a mistake so they don’t have to start over from the beginning.
For example, suddenly want to sneeze while recording a formal message.
This feature is actually already available on WhatsApp Web.
The pause button will appear shortly after we tap the record button to send an audio message.
Users can use the pause button to pause and the play button to continue.
