WhatsApp Tries Restricting Message Forwarding to Cut Hoaxes

Instant messaging app WhatsApp will limit the number of forwarding messages or features forward in order to prevent the spread of content hoaks.

The news emerged from WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.22.7.2. In this beta version, WhatsApp users are not allowed to forward messages that have been forwarded to more than one chat group or chat on Android.
