“WhatsApp to Introduce Third Blue Tick to Protect User Privacy”

WhatsApp is constantly working on modifying or adding tools for its users. The platform, owned by Mark Zuckerberg, had a leak about the news that will come in the future.

Although it has not yet been confirmed, it was known that WhatsApp could add a third blue tick. This tool would be driven by the objective of maintaining and protecting the privacy of conversations.

As detailed in Then 24, a specialist technology portal, it would be one of the next updates that will be reflected on cell phones.

It is worth remembering that the first blue tick is to confirm that the message was sent and the second to confirm that the recipient received it. In this sense, the third blue checkmark would be a notice so that the person on the other side of the phone knows that a screenshot has been taken.

In case of taking screenshots in WhatsApp groups, all members will be notified by the platform.

At the moment there is no arrival date for this tool. However, as happens with each update, WhatsApp will choose a series of devices for a test and, if it meets expectations, it will reach the whole world.
