Jakarta – WhatsApp is getting ready to roll out an app update for the windows version. This aims to make it easier for users, especially office workers, to use the messaging application on PC devices.
Reported from detiINETAccording to a report from WABetaInfo, this instant messaging application made by Meta is preparing to launch an update to the WhatsApp application for Windows on version 2.2309.2.0. There are several new features embedded, one of which is the “Select” feature to manage chat history.
Currently this feature can be found in the Beta version.
Reported by detikINET from Geo News, through this update users can select multiple messages in a conversation and then delete or forward them all at once.
“It is possible to select multiple messages after clicking ‘Select’ in the conversation context menu via message,” said WABetaInfo.
For an alternative option, users can click anywhere in the conversation and they can find a select message option. Users can delete, star, copy or forward messages all at once.
Previously, users had to select messages one by one which was time consuming so this feature can certainly save time and effort. In addition, users can also star messages with this feature because it will give users more control.
