WhatsApp tests to accelerate the speed of audios on Android and iPhone | Social media

THE WhatsApp Beta is testing a feature that will allow the user to speed up the speed of the audios received in the conversations. The experiment was revealed last week by the specialized website WABetaInfo, which discovered the possibility in apps gives trial version for Android e iPhone (iOS). The messenger will be able to increase the speed up to two times, which would help to save time when listening to longer voice messages.

According to test images captured by the portal, WhatsApp would allow to reproduce the audios in three speeds: 1.0x, 1.5x and 2.0x – in this last option, it would be possible to listen to the messages in half the original time. The user would be able to change the speed simply by tapping a speed tag that, in the experiment, appears located on the contact’s photo.

The portal also revealed that WhatsApp would be able to support speeds below 1.0x, making the audios slower than normal. These options will not be released to the public, as they would not make sense, since the intention is to save time when listening to messages.

Another feature related to WhatsApp Web Beta was also spotted by WABetaInfo in the testing phase. The function would allow use WhatsApp Web without having your phone connected to the Internet, being able to access the same account on up to four different devices simultaneously. The service, previously discovered only on Android, has now also been tried on the iPhone. It is not yet known how the feature will be triggered or how accounts and conversations will be synchronized.
