Instant messaging application WhatsApp currently conducting a trial that allows voice recording or voice note could be status.
Voice recording is one of the communication media that WhatsApp users can use besides text and voice calls. Voice recordings are usually used by users to communicate with other users when they have difficulty typing.

Now the instant messaging platform under the Meta technology giant is developing a feature that allows voice recordings to be shared on statuses. The presence of this feature will be a new way to express or communicate in the status column.
Reported WABetainfothis feature can already be enjoyed by a number of beta users who use WhatsApp beta Android version 2.23.2.8.
In a screenshot, WABetainfo leaks a preview of the voice recording that can be used as a status update. This feature can be used by accessing the text status section.
WhatsApp is said to give more control over the user’s voice recording. Among other things, there is an option to delete the recording, if it doesn’t work as expected, before sharing it.
The maximum recording time for a voice recording in this status is 30 seconds, and other users need to update their WhatsApp to the latest version to hear the voice recording shared via the status.
Like other communication channels, WhatsApp calls voice recordings in this status also protected by end-to-end encryption features. Just like picture and video status, voice recording status will also disappear after being broadcast for 24 hours.
