Techbiz.id – Meta’s messaging app, WhatsApp, is reportedly testing the photo notification feature. This feature is able to display a photo of a user who mentions in a WhatsApp group chat.
This new feature is claimed to make it easier for users to find out who the people who have mentioned themselves are. The user is also given the option to reply or delay replying.
Previously, WhatsApp was also developing a feature that displays user profile photos. With this feature, users will get notifications accompanied by photos on their mobile screens.
So that the notification display is not only in the form of the sender’s name and message content, but along with group identity photos and personal contacts.

However, according to a report from Tech radar, this feature is not yet available for WhatsApp accounts. The reason is, WhatsApp plans to activate this feature some time in the future if the bug in it is resolved.
WhatsApp was also reported to be testing the ‘Businesses Nearby’ feature. As the name implies, ‘businesses near you’ will help users find the nearest restaurant or grocery store, in a special section on WhatsApp.
Please note, this feature is still in the development stage, so it is not yet known when it will be widely rolled out to the public.
