WhatsApp warns that users can still take screenshots of the photos and videos that can only be seen once. The function is an extension of the disappearing messages. Since last year, users can set messages or media to disappear after seven days.

The new feature is now in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android, says WABetaInfo. This usually happens several weeks or months before a function is released in the final version.
