According to some information released, it seems that yet another feature in the testing phase has begun to be made available to some WhatsApp users. The new function aims to transform audio messages into text, thus making the dialogue more practical, both for those who cannot hear the voice message at the moment and for users who prefer or can only send audio instead of typing.

Function that converts audio into text may be released
In order to increase the versatility of one of the most used applications worldwide, it is likely that the functionality that changes the audio messages for texts is already being released for some. The function can be activated in a few steps that take less than ten seconds.
The option can be enabled in the messenger’s settings, specifically in the “Conversations” menu. There, just look for the alternative that allows you to convert the content, which is being called “Voice Message Transcription”. In this way, the person who activates the feature will see in the chats, when receiving an audio, a transcription of the voice, located just below the content.
It is important to note that the mechanism may not be available to everyone, as the feature is still in the testing phase. If this is the case, the user can choose to wait for the release or search for any update available from the app. If none of the alternatives work, the internet user can still count on the WhatsApp bot, which was developed by the company itself.
In it, the person can use the “Turn Text” function, where the audios are sent and the answer provides a transcription in text form. To use the bot, you need to add a number to your contact list: (31) 97228-0540. Thus, it is enough for the user to accept the terms of service and, soon after, start using the tool.
The device operates on iOS and Android systems.
