It’s quite common for groups of friends to create groups on WhatsApp to organize something, whether it’s a trip or the schedule for the weekend. More common than that, not reaching a consensus on what to do, however, this problem can be solved in a simple way: polls on WhatsApp.
Polls are currently being tested, along with other updates, through the “TesteFlight Beta Program”, and are expected to arrive in WhatsApp version 22.6.0.70. Currently, the verified version in WhatsApp settings is 2.22.6.70.
The long-awaited polls are coming to WhatsApp after more subtle changes to the app, which involved tweaks to the user interface and a new screen for making voice calls. WhatsApp’s poll template is more like Twitter’s than its sister app, Instagram.

In the preview obtained by WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp asks you to enter a question for a poll in the group. As the feature is still in development, there is still not much information about how polls work, like results and time frames, for example.
As with all messages sent via WhatsApp, surveys will be end-to-end encrypted and restricted to the group they are sent to. Just like the questions, the answers will also be encrypted.
WhatsApp listens to its users
Before the polls, WhatsApp has been very attentive to the demands of its users and has implemented the feature to stop and resume audio recording on Android. Now, when recording a voice message, you can continue the audio without having to start all over again.

The addition of the Resume Recording button is mainly intended to interrupt the message (if necessary) and to avoid losing the file or making it too long.
