Problems with WhatsApp may occur from time to time, due to technical reasons or caused by incorrect operation. It doesn’t matter if you use an iPhone or an Android smartphone like Samsung: if your WhatsApp status no longer works, you will find the solution here.

When you share a new WhatsApp status and your contacts can’t see it, it’s usually for one of the following reasons:
- Unsaved contacts: Your status messages can only be seen by people whose phone number is saved in your contact list and who have your phone number in their contact list. It may therefore be worth taking a look at the respective contact lists.
- Missing access permission: Someone you have blocked or who has been blocked by you cannot access your WhatsApp status. A look at your privacy settings will also reveal if the other person sees your status messages. Both blocked contacts and privacy settings for your state can be found in the Messenger settings in the “Privacy” section.
- Internet connection problems: For example, if you’ve run out of data and try to share a photo or video, errors may occur due to the slow transfer speed. Use a fast and stable internet connection, for example by connecting to a WLAN. Sometimes it can also be useful to turn off and on the Wi-Fi and/or data connection and restart WhatsApp.

In addition to restarting the app or the entire smartphone, reinstalling WhatsApp can also help. However, be sure to back up your chat histories first to restore them later. - Operating system error: System updates can sometimes cause errors in various apps. Sometimes restarting the smartphone helps. If the problem persists, contact your device manufacturer for support. You can find it on the company’s website.
