WhatsApp Status: A Comprehensive Guide to Using the Feature Effectively

When WhatsApp was launched in 2009, status was one of the most intriguing features. Instead of just saying Available or Busy, users could enter any text in the field that appeared next to their name. What is WhatsApp Status?

WhatsApp Status is a feature that lets you post status updates that disappear after 24 hours. You can share photos, videos, text, links and GIFs.

On Android, press the button Status at the top to open the status updates section of WhatsApp. On your iPhone, you will find the tab Status at the bottom of the app.

You can only post videos up to 30 seconds long on WhatsApp Status. If you select a longer video, you will be asked to trim it before posting.
