WhatsApp is moving more and more on the business front, as indeed also announced recently, offering a new and easy way to shop, through the same interface as lots of users they use every day to communicate with loved ones. Already now, every day, beyond 175 million people send messages to a WhatsApp Business account, ed over 40 million users view catalogs every month your WhatsApp.
Strengthened by these numbers, and in view of Christmas shopping and alternative ways e safe (not just in a digital sense) to shop, WhatsApp announces today on a global scale the launch of the new shopping button, which will speed up the consultation of the catalogs of business users who have them, and from there the purchase of products and services.
Until now, users had to go to a company’s profile to find out there was a catalog available. Now instead, thanks to the presence of shopping button, it will be a matter of a single click to have the catalog at hand, and from there you can view the products or start a conversation, perhaps to ask for clarifications.
The new shopping button is available worldwide from today and will replace the video call button in enabled business accounts. To video call them you just have to press the call button next to the shopping one, and then select the video option. The videos below will give you a quick idea of how it works. Let’s clarify again that the shopping button is only present in business contacts on WhatsApp that have their own catalog.
