How to detect crooks?
This is a fairly classic fraud, although some small details may be different. It all starts with a scammer contacting a trader via WhatsApp, claiming to be a manager of Olymp Trade and offering to help them make more profits. Of course, this is all just a trick, for you to send them money.
It is quite easy to spot a scammer: he will contact you first with an offer to quickly grow your investment. If you ask, he will identify himself as an Olymp Trade platform manager, or as an Olymp Trade affiliate owner. Remember that our representatives will never contact you on your private messaging and that Olymp Trade is not affiliated with any investment company.

What to do with crooks?
If you are contacted by an unscrupulous person who offers to increase your profits or help you learn the secrets of trading, or who claims to work with Olymp Trade, you should not believe them. There are no secrets to trading other than analysis and experience, and none of our personal analysts will contact you on an impromptu basis, and certainly not through email.
You can block and report a user in WhatsApp in two easy steps:
- In chat with a scammer, click on their name or phone number;
- Click on Report Contact, then on the button Report and Block;
If you want to report a suspicious group, it’s just as easy:
- First, you need to block and report all admins in the group, following the instructions above;
- Once it’s done, click on the group name, and click on the button Report Group;
That’s all, the contact / group is blocked and the administration of WhatsApp will take care of a scammer.
