Uzone.id – After testing for about 2 months, WhatsApp has finally released a feature for sending photos with high quality (HD) without the hassle.
In a post shared by Mark Zuckerberg, Friday (18/08), he explained about this new feature, where users no longer need to send HD photos in the form of files/documents.
“Sharing photos on WhatsApp is now updated, now you can send in HD quality,” he wrote.
In this new feature, users need to select the ‘standard’ or ‘HD’ option when they want to send photos to others with better quality. When you choose the high quality option, you will see an ‘HD’ label in the picture message.

Here’s how to send HD photos on WhatsApp without directly converting them to files or documents.
Open the message room or group on WhatsApp Select the photo to send Click the HD feature at the top of the screen Select ‘HD’ resolution then send
This update will still be protected with end-to-end encryption so that content will remain safe. Apart from that, this HD feature will also be launched for the video version in the near future so that the videos sent are not broken and blurry.

Currently, this HD image option is still available for one photo per photo only, and it is not yet known whether it will be available for the ‘batch’ version of photos.
For users who haven’t gotten this feature, please be a little patient because WhatsApp usually releases it to all of its users in stages in the near future.
